Jeff Waddell (JW) is a singer-songwriter and slide guitarist with a distinctive style influenced by various genres. Hailing from the farmlands of Decatur, Illinois, and with deep roots in country music, Waddell comes from a musical family. His father, Bueford, played guitar and performed until he was 80 years old, at venues and at Opry events. His brother, Mike, is the banjo player for the bluegrass band "Mackville", who regularly plays on the circuit with many famous bluegrass artists. Raised on traditional country music, rock, and bluegrass, Jeff spent many years with Borderline, a popular Midwest band. He wrote songs featured on Midwest radio stations. Waddell has performed nationally, sharing the stage with top classic rock and country artists. His single "I'm Just the Opening Act" has charted on national Billboard-type music platforms, including Reverberation, which currently sits at number #1 on the Portland & Pacific Northwest Charts for the Country music category.
